Switching to an electric vehicle (EV) is one of the smartest moves you can make, but installing your home charger safely and cost-effectively is just as important.

At My Home Sheffield, we make EV charging simple, affordable, and worry-free for homeowners across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

Why Choose My Home Sheffield for Your EV Charger Installation?

When it comes to powering your home and vehicle, trust and expertise matter.

Here’s what makes us different:

Fully Qualified Electricians – Not Just Fitters

Every installation is handled by our NICEIC-approved electricians, not general fitters. That means your charger is fitted to the highest electrical safety standards, ensuring your home’s wiring, fuse board, and load management are all correctly configured.

This isn’t just about convenience; it’s about protecting your family, your property, and your vehicle investment.

Save Significantly on Installation Costs

With the OZEV EV Charger Grant, you could receive up to £350 off your installation.
We handle all the paperwork, making the process hassle-free.

Even without the grant, customers regularly tell us they save hundreds of pounds compared to national chains.
Our transparent, local pricing means no hidden fees, no upselling, and no call centres; just honest value.

Home and Family Safety First

Your home’s electrical system is the heart of your property. Installing an EV charger safely requires precise wiring, correct load balancing, and compliance with building regulations.

As qualified electricians, we ensure:

• Your fuse board and circuits can safely handle the additional load
• The charger is installed to the manufacturer’s and OZEV standards
• All work is tested and certified for complete safety assurance

You get peace of mind knowing your installation protects your family and your home.

Convenience, Reliability & Peace of Mind

We make your EV charging experience as seamless as possible:

• Fast, tidy installation – typically completed in just one visit
• Smart chargers – compatible with all EV and hybrid models
• Future-ready solutions – app-controlled, solar-compatible, and energy-efficient

You can charge overnight, save on electricity costs, and wake up to a fully charged car – every day.

• When you call, you speak directly to our qualified installers, not a call centre.
• We’re proud to serve Sheffield and surrounding areas, offering a free home survey to make your installation simple and straightforward.
