I’d done a fair bit of research so knew what EV charger I was looking for and Pete was able to offer me an excellent deal on one. Can I charge my Electric Vehicle from a normal three-pin plug?
You can, but it is not recommended. A three-pin plug is roughly three times slower than a seven-point-four-kilowatt home charger and it puts strain on your sockets. Most three-pin chargers are not designed for regular overnight charging. A dedicated charger is faster, safer and better for your long-term use.
Do I need permission to install a home EV charger?
If you have private off-street parking you normally do not need permission. If your cable crosses a public pavement or you live in a listed property, additional steps may be required. We handle this on a case-by-case basis.
What is included with your EV charger installations?
You receive a full survey, installation by certified engineers, tidy and safe fitting, app setup, a walk-through of how to use everything, and grant application support where eligible. Solar charging options are also available.

How much does an EV charger cost to install?

Can I charge during off-peak hours to save money?
Yes. Every charger we install includes smart scheduling. You can set charging to begin during cheaper tariff times, track energy use, see charging costs, and schedule sessions through the app.
Will the charger still work if I get a new vehicle?
Yes. All chargers we install are universal and work with any modern electric vehicle. If you get a second EV we can add additional chargers or enable load sharing so both vehicles can charge together.
Are your chargers weatherproof?
Yes. Our chargers are IP54 rated and tested in climates far harsher than the UK, including sub-zero temperatures in Norway.
Can I get a grant for my EV charger?
